Vegetable rich in minerals and recommended in poor diets. In our garden in autumn and winter, the cauliflower plant has significant antibacterial qualities. It belongs to cruciferous vegetables and presents a stem of 15-20 cm in height and leaves with various shades of green. It grows in cool temperatures. The inflorescence is eaten raw or steamed to preserve the nutritional characteristics such as the high content of vitamin A-C (phosphorus - potassium).
Cauliflowers and Savoyes

Cabbage belongs to cruciferous family; it is formed by thick leaves, superimposed on each other, forming a ball that can be smooth or curly: depending on the variety, even the color of the leaves changes. The internal leaves of the cabbage are lighter than the external ones as they are not exposed to light, their size alters from 10 to 20 cm in diameter and their weight from 1 to 3 kg. Leaves, broad and embryonic, wind up to form a very hard and compact spherical (or even conical or oval) head of various sizes. Herbaceous crop 40-50 cm high. Biennial cycle, it has a tap root, shallow and erect stem that usually does not exceed 30 cm. Cabbage blooms in the spring of the second year of cultivation, after a period of low temperatures.
The pointed cabbage gets its name from its head. This medium to small-sized variety is used a lot in cooking, although it is ideally eaten raw rather than cooked, as it is rich in potassium and vitamins C and B6. It is available from November to April.
Romanesco belongs to the cauliflower family. Its shape is amazing and its florets repeat themselves as fractals. It is one of the oldest horticultural vegetables. Its head is pointed in the shape of a light green pyramid made up of many small pyramidal and geometrically perfect rosettes. The scent of Roman cabbage is intense, the greenish color, the flavor is full and delicate at the same time. Seasonality runs from October to April. It contains vitamin C and calcium and is considered anticancer.
