  It belongs to the Composite family, it is the most common endive variety. It is sown extensively in the period from July to August and its collection is from autumn to late winter, depending on the climate. The seeding is doing in rows far from each other about 30-40 cm. The color is medium green with a good performance in cold conditions and very massive clump that easily becomes white by the ligature.
