The nominations of the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award (Flia) fro 2011 which will be delivered on 11th February, have been announced.

On the red carpet of the Fruit Logistica (Berlin, 9-11th February 2011), 10 players will parade. They are the candidates to Flia, Fruit Logistica Innovation Award, a prize dedicated to fruit and vegetables and the technical solutions for the field that have innovative features recognized by a panel of distributors, wholesalers, services and packaging operators.  The Fruit Logistica Innovation Award give a tribute to the new variety of plant products and services that have had a positive impact on trade of fruit and vegetables and have been introduced on market between 1st November 2009 and 31st October 2010.  The 50,000 visitors from 125 countries expected in Berlin will also have the opportunity to vote for the innovation of the year during the first two days of the fair. The top ten will be presented in a special area between Halls 20 and 21 of the fair, where the winner will be announced on 11th February 2011 at  2.30 p.m. The Flia is presented from the Berlin exhibition (Messe Berlin GmbH) and from the Fruchthandel Magazine.
